When a guitar slinging surfer approached me about building him a van I couldn't have been more excited. Finally, a chance to spend someone else's money on all the things I want! Only to watch them roll away a few months later... I'm not crying, you're crying.

With a loose list of requests and free range to build as we saw fit, this van is packed with features while leaving our luxurious, modern design in tact. Beneath the walnut butcher block countertop. This allows the connection of guitars, microphones, headphones and much more to this robust system for recording that new hit or just being louder than the folks parked next to you. Switch from relaxing on the bench and taking a listen to laying down grooves by revealing the hidden keyboard drawer and propping up the built in piano bench and you're ready to create! With a 400 Ah battery bank, shore power capabilities as well as an automatic charge when the van turns on, you'll be able to capture your fine yodeling skills no matter where you find yourself.

When you're done making music simply climb the ladder at the rear and enjoy the best view in town on the 100% California redwood roof deck. After you're done soaking it all in, you'll find a capable kitchen at your disposal. Cook to your hearts content on the high powered two burner stove and keep clean with the industrial style sink and faucet at hand. Pop in the swiveling table and base, grab a seat on the bench and enjoy your meal out of the elements. No, no, put the keyboard away. It's dinner time. All tuckered out? Well, wash your dishes first you bum, then hop in the full sized, memory foam mattress and take a snooze. Grab the remote and adjust the fan speed and power from bed and off you go. Scared if the dark? Use the built in dimmer and leave just a little light on.

This build also features sustainably sourced maple construction throughout, tongue in groove ceiling and wall features, top of the line, waterproof, vinyl plank flooring, thorough insulation and the fine, durable craftsmanship you've come to expect from DBR Productions.
